Chinese New Year 2023: Factories Close Earlier And Longer

Sea-Air Service as an alternative to sea freight

The Chinese Year of the Rabbit begins on 22 January 2023. Some factories already stop production at
the end of the year and close earlier and longer. Thus, the New Year holidays already start on 1
January and end on 27 January 2022. Companies from Europe and North America should keep this in
    mind when planning their logistics.

It can happen that shipping companies cancel sailings at short notice around Chinese New Year. Our
Sea-Air service could be a good alternative to still meet the planned delivery date. The cargo is
shipped by sea freight from Asia and flown by air freight from Dubai to Europe and North America.
This transport combination shortens the transport time compared to classic sea freight. Are you

almost three months, the first enquiries from global buyers for the spring season arrived, and more
orders will follow in the coming weeks. In addition, RMG exports increased in November, up nearly 6

Exports From India: Reduce Costs, CO2 Emission With Minimum Transit Time

Forwarders facing an 18% Tax on Air Freight exports, PAM CARGO Sea-Air Service is a solution to help maintain flexibility in your supply chain.

Effective 01st October 2022, the forwarders in India are now required to pay 18% tax on a monthly filing basis, and failing to do so will trigger hefty penalties. Therefore, an increase in Tax on AIR Freight is now a concern for the forwarders and exporters.

However, on outbound Ocean Freight Charges, the tax rate is lower at 5%.

PAM CARGO offers SEA-AIR service from India to Europe and North America. SEA-AIR is a combined mode of transport of SEA freight and AIR Freight. The cargo will be moved by Sea from India to Dubai and from Dubai to Europe / North America by air. As a result, the forwarders and suppliers benefit from reducing the export tax and saving carbon emissions by 40-50%. Furthermore, using the SEA-AIR service will not affect your supply chain, as there is only a slight difference in transit times.
